For all those worried about women and peeing can I recommend investing in a Shewee.
My 69 year old mum has one for longer hikes and road trips. It works a charm, apparently.
She also once got stuck on the M5, due to a flood, but fortunately they'd just decided to turn into some services just as the police closed the road.
No room at the inn but at least they had access to food/toilets.Kate short for Bob.

We travelled from Inverness up the A9 for 90 miles behind two lorries doing 60 mph.
The norm for lorries up here is 50-56 mph.0 -

No, they don't. Just pause and think about one little word... "Tachograph".
It's far more likely your speedo over-reads.
The speed limit for lorries on dual carriageways (in England and Wales) and motorways is 60, yet they are limited to 56 by Euro regs.
Apparently, if the tacho reads over 56 for more than a minute (going downhill most likely), it marks an "overspeed infringement" and the driver can be In Trouble for breaking Euro regs, not actually speeding.
Boris should soon sort it and they will all be able to do a nice legal 60I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

Euro regs are UK regs.
And even if the UK government ever decides to rescind The Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) (Amendment) (No. 1) Regulations 1993, then if any UK-registered truck fancies crossing the channel, it'd still need to be fitted with a calibrated 90kph limiter.
Actually, I'm not even sure they could unless and until the UK left the UN, too, since the speed limiter requirement is almost certainly part of UNECE legislations.0 -
