Occupants of the car had lunch there yet no cancellation!!? What the heck!?

That store manager was letting the company down big time. You'll get this cancelled with an assertive complaint to the CEO or I'll stand you lunch next time! (But somewhere else, not Waitrose).

Haha thanks. Once this is all sorted I will let you know :D:p

I will definitely be complaining about the store manager as well.

You write as keeper saying we were shopping and we had lunch etc, not mentioning who was driving because it's irrelevant who was actually driving, this is called the royal we

If this had happened to me and my wife the last thing on my mind would be who drove there and who drove back, chances are we would split the journeys like pilots do on an airplane

This is a complaint about patronage and procedures and customer loyalty and satisfaction, respect for paying customers and lack of service by the onsite manager

Do not open the door to who was driving, it's a red herring

    Yes provide proof of patronage

Tell Waitrose they are not to share your complaint with the parking company or any other third party, other than the PCN reference which you add, plus your name and address as keeper, plus your email address

    Ie it's confidential

Thanks. Mail sent. Hopefully it gets cancelled. If I do not hear from Waitrose/PPC, the next step is to appeal to Britannia online before the end of the 28 days deadline?

Maske sure that you keep hold of that cancellation letter, its not been unknown for PPCs to keep trying
    From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"

Ok. It's an email reply from Waitrose to the original email I sent to the CEO. Is it a good idea to also write to PPC to confirm the cancellation?

There is no reason why you cannot copy them in with the details as well, like PCN ref etc, asking them for confirmation in writing

Now you see why we tell people to complain to the high ups and get it cancelled by the retailer of landowner, no faffing around

    About time Waitrose dumped Britannia,

If you want to rub their nose in it, tell them. The Waitrose letter should suffice

    Well done:beer:

sooo tempting to wave the reply under the nose of the store manager..... and tell him of the complaint ...;)

Well done now spread the word to all family/friends/ on how to fighr the scammers and where to some for advice

    Ralph:cool:
  • Now you understand why the NEWBIES tells you that the first action should be a landowner/retailer complaint.

So well done you have saved yourself a lot of time and effort with this early cancellation.
