Which platform for S&S ISA? £100 a month in JPM Emerging Markets fund

Hi,

I am wanting to start a stocks and shares ISA. I am looking to invest £100 a month in the JP Morgan Emerging Markets fund.

I am struggling to work out which platform would be the cheapest to use! Any ideas? HL seem to offer some sort of discount on the ongoing charge:

Thanks

Ok. That covers your emerging markets sector. Most models have that around the 0-10% mark of your portfolio. What about the other 90% and 10-12 sectors?

Its a fair point but i do have a few other investments but perhaps not as diversified as that. Out of interest if the £100 a month was all I had, would it not be too expensive to split that across many funds say 5 funds £20 each?

You could try Freetrade as a platform. Here are the charges for the JPM Emerging Markets fund to compare with Hargreaves Lansdown:

There's no charge for buying or selling shares or funds for standard orders, so you could easily split your monthly investment, and the Stocks and Shares ISA is currently free of charge with a £3 per month charge to be introduced towards the end of the year.

Alternatively use an investment calculator to work out the ongoing charges for your investment strategy:

Yes, you would be better served with a globally diversified low cost multi asset fund. Apart from being a risky fund for all your monthly contribution, the annual fund charges are 1.15% plus 0.45% platform charge, plus transaction costs. Very expensive which will eat into your returns.

Single sector investing for very low amounts like this is completely impractical on many levels. You should look for a single multi-asset fund, they are tailor made, one stops shops and will stand you in good stead up to mid level 5 figure sums
