Flight delay compensation less than 1500km

I flew from scotland to london which according to google maps is less than 1500km. the flight arrived around 2.5 hours late , am i entitled to compensation.

If the cause of your delay gives you grounds for compensation, you can claim a lump sum depending on the length of the delay.
For delays of under three hours, you cannot claim compensation
For delays of more than three hours, you can claim €250
The delay length is calculated using the time the flight arrives at its destination (this is based on the time at which at least one door of the aircraft is opened) — not the departure time.0 -
That's harsh - on the train you'd get a 100% refund.0

Thanks for the replies i have misread the following webpage as i thought it said that financial compensation isi due if a flight of less than 1500km is delayed by 2 hours
