    Afternoon all,

Cooler today......OH put a sweater on.....at least he didn't light the fire!

DS and family 2 hours into their 20 hour trip to Japan for a two week holiday to visit DDILs mother, sister and other family.

Not sure what we will eat later, fancy something handy like carbonara, might let everyone look after themselves if that doesn't suit.

    Have a good day

Sorry Snoozer , I forgot to wish you and Steve a very Happy 40th Wedding Anniversary - hope you are having a nice day and I thought that was a lovely touch of Steve's to copy your wedding bouquet xx

    Good evening everyone :hello:

It's been a nice day mostly weather wise with the odd hard shower of rain but lots of sunshine in between. I have just eaten a beautifully cooked roast lamb dinner that Steve made. It was so nice to have a roast after weeks of salads. Plenty of lamb left over too so it will be shepherds pie on the menu tomorrow.

Congratulations Snoozer and Steve on your 40th wedding anniversary. That is certainly some achievement and how lovely for your flowers to be the same as in your bouquet. My Steve wouldn't have a clue about stuff like that but he is very romantic in other ways so I am not complaining.

I watched Bohemian Rhapsody last night and it was a brilliant film that I really enjoyed. There are a lot of music films around at the moment and I am looking forward to seeing all of them at some point.

I have quite a few appointments next week to get through which I am not really looking forward to. I think there is someone here every day so the house will need a bit of a spruce up in the morning. Phoebe is working but Lilly and Lee can get their rubber gloves on and help. It didn't work out in the end with the cleaner so I am back to nagging at the kids, not great really.

Hope you all had a nice day today, take care xx
