None of these people ignored he papers. They just made mistakes. Some did post their forms b according to the court they didn’t receive them before the cut off.
Another did it online and was a few minutes late.....
Anothe the court has told her that she needs to pay by Monday also.
Posting too late to get there on time ( either snail mail or electronically) won't be grounds for a set aside. Just a waste of £255 set aside fee
As posted, the court don't set the date by which the judgement must be paid
If there's a specific date then that's come from the claimant when asking for judgement
Miss the date and it means the claimant can start enforcement
You pay the claimant not the Court
The important date to bear in mind if you want the ccj removing from the records is to pay in full within a month of the judgement date0 -

The FB group is a closed group so that we can support eachother through this. People have shared advice from here and details of what to do and when but sometimes things still go wrong.
I will let them know what’s been said and they can decide whether to bother with applying for set aside ......
Surely if your members are savvy enough to use FB they can come here and learn about this for themselves
They don't have to log in here to be able to read up on this/search/ study the FAQs etc!
But if they did then they could start a thread and get specific advice on their specifics rather than the generalized advice here0 -
They aren’t all on FB. Some people have heard about the group from a local councillor and have got in touch via email. We have signposted people here of course but there are still lots of questions so I thought I’d ask to try to help.
I’ve shared this thread on the group and via email encouraging people to comment and sign up etc.
This is a great resource but there is a lot of info to wade through and not everyone feels able to for various reasons.
Thanks for all your help. It’s answers the questions I’ve been asked to date. :-)0 -
It sounds like there are multiple issues. Some are of the authors own making and some are beyond their control.
Where the court has made a mistake there may be grounds to reopen the case. Where mistakes by the defendants have been made there would seem to be little chance.
This really can't be dealt with in one general thread. Everyone needs their own individual advice.0
