Have I ordered the wrong router

I want to change my now tv router so I ordered the TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750 from argos which I'm going to pick up tomorrow but I'm thinking I've ordered the wrong one and I should of ordered the TP-Link N300 VDSL/ADSL Modem Router. It looks like the TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750 uses an Ethernet cable for the internet port.

Yes. The specs say the WAN port is an Ethernet port. If you're on ADSL you'll need the N300.0

If you need one that plugs straight into the telephone line then yes you have ordered the wrong one, the one ordered plugs into a cable modem.0

Your analysis is correct. You have ordered the wrong router, you need a modem router. I think you could plug your Now router into the Archer using the latter as a more powerful wifi hub if that is whatr you want.0

I want a router where you can block internet use as you cannot do this with the now tv router. I assume you're aware that NOWTV don't allow you to do this? 3.8 from T&Cs...I want to change my now tv router
3.8 You must not use a modem or any other equipment that we have not supplied to you in
order to access NOW Broadband.
