Tax credits and refund of work mileage

Hi
Can anyone clarify the following as there is mixed responses out there on the web.
I currently use my car for work use and they refund me my mileage on a monthly basis in with my wages. They refund me the 45p per mile and I do on average no more than 2000 work miles per annum.
Will this affect my tax credits at year end and be considered as extra income? Some sites say yes, others no as it will be under 10000 miles.
Thanks
