    You are very definitely wrong.

There does seem to be people who have very specific knowledge that would suggest to me they are in the industry and I hope so because these are the people and replies that I and I'm sure many other users on this site rely on!
    :)

The point is that they are not paid a retainer by their employers to deter people from complaining.

As we finally get to the closing stages of the PPI debacle, there are still many posts made here from people who still fail to grasp that simply having an insurance policy is not in itself cause for complaint.

Remember that the majority of posts to the forum are from people who are experiencing problems using what is (and always has been) a simple complaint process. This results in a lot of negative responses from the regulars here.

In my own case, I recovered £20,000 in mis-sold PPI back in 2012 and have since used my experience to help many many deserving others to reclaim theirs. However, those seven years have seen me become more and more sceptical of some of the potential complainants who have posted here....

You're wrong. Usually the answers depend on the information given and if information from a poster is drip fed, the answers can change.

I am not suggesting they get paid! I am grateful for the knowledgable and experience they offer which gives me more confidence in the site. So I thank you all for your advice. It's not meant to be negative but positive.
