Student bank account

My daughter is going to college for a year on a HNC course. Been looking at the criteria for opening a student bank account. And they all seem to require you to be studying for 2 years or more. After this course has finished she is hoping to study for a further 3 years. Does anyone know any banks that will allow yo to open an account for 1 year initially.

Hi,
Most student accounts are for university degrees which is why it's two years you mention I'm not aware of any student accounts for college courses. Think she may need to stick to her account without the student label till she enters her longer studies.

Is there anything specific about student accounts that she's after? Presumably she could just use a normal account (under-18s one if applicable) for now and open a student one at the point of starting the three-year course?0
