Would losing DLA/PIP end my Working Tax Credits award?

Hi I currently get DLA and in the process of starting to move on to PIP - Had my letter to phone to start my PIP Claim
I also claim Working Tax Credits - I only work 16 hours a week so must be disabled bit
If I lose my PIP, would my tax credits end too? as for normal tax credits you have to work 30+ hours
Thanks

Depends - look at this link:

Do you meet any of the other qualifying benefit tests without PIP in payment?
If not, I'd advise you to do some research on PIP, think about getting help with the form, and making the best possible application you can. Include medical / other evidence to back up your claim. PIP is very different to DLA.

What health condition(s) / disabilities do you have?
Often you can find specific help from related charities.Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.0 -
Im concerned about my PIP application due to the fact that I dont have much medical paperwork or evidence to support my claim, espesh recently
I have rheumatoid arthritis in a lot of my joints but my last rheumatologist has left and im on the waiting list for a new dr. now and apart from more physio a few months ago thats it, my tablets arent helping much now but other than my blood test next week and waiting for my referal to rheumatology again just feels like im in limbo waiting, and have nothing to put on my application
I have a genetic condition called Cadasil (like a genetic stroke condition) but other than seeing a genetic counsellor when i was diagnosed about 6 years ago, haven't really seen anyone other than a GP, again on a waiting list to see a neurologist since getting more headaches/fatigue etc
My mum was on DLA and has done her PIP application the other month and had her assessment a few weeks ago too, we went to citizens advice for help with her application so they were a great help
Thanks for the links too, will have a good look through them0 -

Have you looked at their guide to claiming PIP?
I would have thought arthritis would affect many PIP activities, for a starter:
a) needing an aid to prepare a meal;
b) possibly adapted cutlery to take nutrition;
d) shower rails;
e) possibly an aid to get on / off toilet safely (rails);
f) aid / help with dressing, or taking twice as long.
Remember the reliability bit is very important - safely, to an acceptable standard, and in a reasonable time scale, etc.
If you really don't think you have much to put on the form - get advice, don't do it yourself when you don't understand PIP.Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.0
