Esa and Pip

Hi All
I'm getting things ready for my F2F for ESA. I've got some FME that I will be showing to the assessor. Is it worth showing the assessor my Pip award and what I scored the points in.

PIP and ESA are different benefits but a PIP award can help an ESA award but it will depend on what you scored points in for the PIP award.

I claim both and during my last ESA review in Oct/Nov last year, i sent my PIP assessment report and award letter with my form. The reason i sent it is because i claim Enhanced mobility for moving around. It helped my claim but i also needed to prove that i could self propel a manual wheelchair. My PIP award was mentioned in the assessment report.

Hi thanks, I will dig out my PIP award and show it at my f2f. I should of known really to show my PIP award because how can one decision contradict the other. As they are both from DWP

As advised, they are different benefits with different criteria. A person can claim PIP and work.

Yes maybe claim one and not the other but they can't (or shouldn't) contradict each other. Which is what I said.
