0% Super Balance Transfer M&S hitch?

Managed to follow Martin's advice of transferring full credit limit from Virgin Credit card to my current account then into a high interest account.
Tried the same with M&S and they would only transfer to a credit card or store card, not my current account.
What should I do?

Transfer funds from M&S to Virgin and then from Virgin to your current account and then on into a decent savings account.

Another bit of advice for you - when your Virgin card comes to an end, don't cancel it. Same if you have an Egg card.
You can then use this as your Super Balance Transfer Mule card for the vast majority of cards which don't allow transfers into your current account, and the stoozing goes on...
Good luck! The above facts belong to everybody; the opinions belong to me; the distinction is yours to draw...0 -
Tried your advice but virgin would not let me increase my credit limit as i am too new a customer0

I have a similar problem. I took out a natiowide card thinking i could super Bt, but now i don't know what to do. I also have EGG, HSBC and Barclay cards. Need the cash for paying for my conservatory.

I thought M&S did, just applied as well. Never mind.:mad:0

I followed your advice in the article 'How to Stooz'. I transferred the balance from M&S to Virgin, and then from Virgin to current account - they've stung me for a £35 balance transfer fee (when I rang they said I was only entitled to one free balance transfer). Have I done something wrong?0

Check your T&Cs for the answer.Ethical moneysaver0

I find it worrying that both brookchris and avi have leapt into stoozing without properly reading up on it first. Stoozing is profitable but not simple and takes a lot of discipline. If you are not prepared to research it properly before starting then it may not be right for you.
All the questions you are asking are well covered. To read them on this site click on "Super BTs" in the blue box above. Then you will see an article with a more links in it which would have answered all your questions including SBTs, muling and BT charges. These topics are also comprehensively covered over at https://www.stoozing.com (read their "Risks" section too). Furthermore you should really read and understand the credit card's T&C Summary Box before you apply for it.0 -

To be fair, it is not really this poster's fault. Virgin are notorious (as has been seen a lot on this site) for not knowing their own procedures. Even if the poster had checked the T & Cs it would not have helped. Virgin BTs should be free throughout the whole of the 0% period but some Virgin customer service agents don't know this. Brookchris - if you ring virgin again you may get through to someone who actually knows what they should be doing. If not, keep trying until you do!What did I do at work before I discovered MSE?!
