  • Wouldn't the warm air from the radiator just go straight out the window?

we had ours rolled to fit at a small, local engineering firm - it didnt cost too much and they mde a lovely job. we had to do a template for them but that was easy.

Exactly. That is what a radiator does whichever end of the room it is. It supplies the heat losses. SO your choice is to put it near the heat losses and sit warm behind it or to sit between the radiator and the window and enjoy the drafts from the convection current to feed the heat losses.
    Hi all!

Just bought a 1930s house with lovely curved (5-angled) bay windows to the front. I want to put a curved/angled radiator under it, but all I can find online are companies who bend standard radiators (which is a little pricey). Are there no companies out there that manufacture angled rads to standard sizes (i.e. not custom made)?

    Regards,
    Miles.
If you don't like the expense of custom rads, you could install deep double convector rads either side of the window. These will normally meet the heat flow requirement for the room
