Many years ago we had a ppi settlement for £2k which was then revised to £5k after we found a 1995 bank statement.

With all the hype my partner who is not well signed up to one of these claim companies but they were obviously desperate and ringing 2-3 times a day so he ignored them.
I only allow him an hour on his phone and he found resolver and contacted bank of Scotland. It looks like he said they never knew our employment status or ever questioned it.
Less than a week later we get a letter saying they are reviewing it and about a week later a letter to say a cheque Will arrive in 28 days and it has.

I have copied his words and sent the same to Lloyd’s for cc and nationwide for mortgage we when we took them out it was a case or sign here here here what about reading - do you want the house or not we then discovered one mortgage we were paying ppi equivalent to 25% of the loan and then £30 a year in interest. Most of the docs are boxed up in the loft and of course pre this paperwork it was mortgage books.
I have also added the following argument after employment benefits and parental help. For those who use iPhones who reads the t&c for a iOS upgrade. Between iOS 5 and iOS 11 there is an additional 80 pages of terms and conditions - I bet every ppi decision maker scrolls and clicks yes agree. Apple may now own your home your business or your inheritance. It may be a pointless argument but I read that with nationwide it was hidden in the early days at point 43 in the t&c no ppi no loan. And remember the days of pre approved and completed credit cards just sign and now for the new that are paper based it’s like 2 font so small you have to smell the paper.

Well wish me luck with the others, what’s the worst they can say.

Regards

Yes, but in that one hour, he managed to a cheque out of BoS! So impressive a performance that the OP has "copied his words" and is trying the same thing on with Lloyds and Nationwide.

Perhaps the OP should consider what 'he' could achieve with unrestricted access.:)
