Rockstar Digital Purchases

Hello,

I bought a ‘Great White Shark’ digital cash card for GTA V for £11.99. However, I have found out that I have been charged for 4 other cards as well!

We did go through the motions of ordering 4 times before the 5 was successful. The first 4 times, after pressing the accept button, responded by a web page that came up saying there has been a problem with your transaction please try again later which we did.

At no point were we given the impression that the purchase had been successful and we would not have continued another 4 times if it had.

Do I have any rights in getting this money back and who can I speak to to help?

I have tried going through Rockstar and PayPal but they don’t want to know.

    More likely you just see the attempts at taking payment that have ring-fenced the funds in your account. I would suggest waiting to be sure you have actually been charged (unless you are saying you've received 5 cards)

    Thanks for answering. It was through their digital shop and the money has been taken for all 5. However for the first 4 the purchasing process crashed saying that there was an error and to try again later which we did. If it had not come up with that screen we would not have continued to buy 4 more. It was only when I had my phone and checked my bank account that I noticed the extra money taken.

    As @aau1 said, is it 4 or 5 pending payments or has the money actually left? Smart phones don't always show enough information in my experience, try a computer or of course your bank.

    Did you receive 5 e-cards or just the 1?
