It is an ill wind ...
Latest Tesco "Your Internet Saver bonus period will be ending soon" (also notifying of a 1.42% to 0.35% rate drop) letters received have a £10 tear-off shopping coupon.
Almost missed it in the gloom....:)0 -

I know, I know. I've been trying to consolidate, rather open new accounts. But sometimes, you just have to do it:oIt is an ill wind ...

Not sure when it happened, but I was browsing Tescobank site yesterday and noticed that they have reintroduced a bonus rate on the internet saver. The latest offering is 1.16% Gross/AER (variable) including a fixed 0.81% bonus for 12 months.
Their instant cash isa rate dropped from 1.44% to 1.14% for existing customers in October. But I see there is a new product offering 1.25%, including a 0.90% fixed bonus for 12 months.0 -

just to add that the day after the above message was posted they introduced a slightly improved internet saver paying 1.21% AER.

not entirely sure why they have gone to all the bother of increasing the rate by 0.05% but i guess it is better than a reduction.0 -

I have a Tesco Cash ISA because of it being a flexible one.
Also I noticed under ISA transfers, I can transfer between different Tesco Bank Cash ISA accounts, so once my bonus ends for my 1.44% one, I can use the 1.25% one.Retired 1st July 2021.
This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."0
