The prize is a five-night stay in a deluxe room, which have four-poster beds, cosy earthy tones and sleek, minimalist lines. Double doors open on to a private balcony with views of the glittery sea beyond. Relax at the deeply spoiling spa or by the infinity pool or book onto morning yoga or a guided trek. Also included in the prize is breakfast at Buon Giorno, one of Verdura’s eight smart restaurants which also has views of the beach and sea – try freshly-made pastries and cakes with cured meats and fresh orange juice – juiced with fruit grown on the resort.
