HELP - Fitting New PVCu door

I have just received a new PVCu door and frame from someone via the FreeCycle website - fabulous freebie!!! :j :money:
However my question is around fitting the door. The new door's frame is 35' whereas the existing frame is on 33'.
It is being fitted to a single brick garage wall.
So could I just ask a handy man to fit it and make the gap wider?
Is this possible, just cut away the necessary brickwork?
Or is this just too big a job?

is there no way you can cut off an inch either side of the frame?
failing that, then hire a stone cutter from a hire shop, about 20 quid per day.Get some gorm.0
