Duck down duvet

I made a mistake of buying goose down and feather duvets for our beds. They do the job but rustle for one thing and are very bulky and heavy.
What I should have bought are duck down duvets which I plan to do. What we have now are 13.5 tog would I need the same with duck down or could I get away with 10.5 tog?

Whatever the filling, a 10.5 tog duvet will be appreciably cooler than a 13.5 tog.
Personally I find a 13.5 tog FAR too warm and heavy, and use a 4.5 tog for most of the year.#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3660 -
We've got a 4.5 tog for the winter and a 1.5 tog 'duvette' for the summer. Sometimes that's too much and we use a duvet cover with nothing in it.
I had much thicker ones when I was single though, but always used synthetic.Make £2024 in 2024
