Can go either Calais way or Roscoff to the south west of france but we like to visit and stop over on route. Any recommendations either route of places you enjoy or would recommend? Thanks for any help

Yes been there and la Rochelle. I really enjoyed Amiens with floating island allotments last time. Seen outside of Versailles. Seeing if any additional ideas. Thanks for input so far.0
