Thanks KeithP and Coupon-mad for that advice - I will re-read up from Newbies post tonight on the DQ process and get my covering letter written up.
Funniest thing is I have actually bought a desk and printer to do all this bloomin work on as I not needed one in years! (Wonder if I can add this to my costs if I win!?)

Hi Coupon-mad,
just in ref to the DQ procedure - i have now had both the email and letter in the post with Claimaints DQ copy - am i now waiting for CCBC to write to me to request my DQ or do i download and send off my own now with my covering letter?0 -
You can choose, either wait or download. See post # 4 in this thread by KeithP where you will find a recommendation for just this eventuality.0

DQs for both Claims sent off today along with a Covering letter to the Judge to consolidate the two claims into one0
-
Remember to send a copy of your completed DQs to the Claimant - if you haven't done so already.
Their address is on your Claim Form.0 -
thanks - can i simply email it to them?0
-
and also do i have to also Post the DQ/Letter via snail mail? or can i just stick to email0
-
The official line is that you should not use email for service unless the Claimant has explicitly agreed to it.
You decide.
If sending by post, just use standard First Class Post getting a free Certificate of Posting from the Post Office counter.
Never ever use any service that requires a signature.0 -
thanks for the advice
do i need to send the Claimant a copy of the Letter to Judge requesting consolidation?0 -
Yes.
From this point on, everything that you send to the Court must be copied to the Claimant and vice versa.
That's absolutely everything except any 'without prejudice' correspondence.0
