Help! Hsbc employer reference for dismissed employee

Hi, I was dismissed from HSBC for gross misconduct, I am appealing this but in the meantime I need a job. Does anyone know if HSBC include dismissal for gross misconduct in their references to prospective employers.

If you apply for a role which requires a regulatory reference, then HSBC must disclose 'serious matters' or 'serious misconduct'.
