had my engine refurbished, should I tell them that?
I'm taking my old van to webuyanycar.com on Friday. As the title suggested, I had the engine refurbished by a reputable garage which i paid hugely for. (£3245). should I tell them that or keep quiet about it because I'm worried they might reduce the price for my van. it's been working better than ever for the past 2.5 years.

Unless it's obvious and they haven't specifically asked then why would you.0

It'll make no difference to their pricing.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

It doesn't sound any different to any other repair. They just want it to be in a good state of repair, but will try and find anything to knock the price down.0

Dont worry, they will find something to knock a few hundred off.0

Yeah in my experience, they will offer around 1/3 to 1/2 the valuation they give you on the website0

ended up getting just £1048 for it due to the scratches and dents. I bought it for £4800 4 years ago0

My experience, albeit only one vehicle, is that they offered about 95% of the initial online quote.
I've used them for three cars. Two had final sales prices pretty much in the ball park of the online valuation. But, I do describe the car as accurate as I can online. Impression given by the WBAC staff was a lot of people have rose tinted vision about the condition of their cars when they do the online bit.
Third car though was a bit of a rip off. Turns out the car was a VW grey import from Belgium and as such they took about 25% off the online valuation. I think I got about £500 compared to £700.0
