Wedding Insurance/ Liability

This afternoon me and my fianc! had a bit of devastating news,
we are getting married in 6 weeks and we have a live band playing at our wedding but the band has just sent us there public liability insurance but it only covers £1 million but the hotel requires at least £5 million

The hotel is going to speak to the band but if everything fails and theres noting the band or the hotel can do is there any insurances that me and my fianc! can get to cover the band for the day and please the hotel?

There is public liability insurance available e.g.
https://www.comparethemarket.com/business-insurance/public-liability

However unless you know details like their turnover, length of time they’ve been in business etc. Then you aren’t going to be able to get this for them.
The band need to get a quote because it asks for a lot of details about their business.

It’s probably going to be easier for them to start with their exiting broker insurer than have all the costs associated with setting up a new policy.
