Brought an auction runabout, previous keeper has reported it stolen

So my other 1/2 needs a car for running around and learning to drive. My volvo is much to big for that so I went to the local BCA and picked up an old Peugeot for a couple of hundred.
Being an auction car I knew it would have history and it's turned out that it is a repossessed Logbook loan car although it has both keys so I presume whoever repoed it had some agreement with it's old owner.
Got it back here, Taxed, Insured etc. and all of a sudden I had a visit from a PC claiming someone had reported it stolen.... Since I had a V5 and the paperwork from the auction he accepted it was legally mine and went on his way
Is this the end of it or is there anything I should be concerned about

You will have good title as you bought it through BCA.0

As above, you have good title but it might be worth contacting the BCA centre about this.
It sounds to me that the previous owner had reported it stolen when it was legally repossessed.0 -
Sounds like the previous owner got p###d off because his car was legally repossessed, and just wants to mess with people's lives because his own is s##t. If the Plod was happy you had good title, I wouldn't worry about it either.0
