So yesterday I purchased insurance, I read the cover note immediately, I would not cover transportation of livestock.
So within 10 mins of receiving the documents I rang to cancel.
I was told that there would be a admin fee of £70.
Why? Its in the T's and C's but I only got them.
Also they now have £700 and will not return it for 21 days
I now have to borrow money to insure a car I own so i can tax it.
Is there anything I can do to
1. Get my £70 back
2. Get the £700 pound back quicker?

If the transportation of livestock was so important why did you not ask the question before you took out the insurance ?
Surely such a specific need would you not go to the NFU ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
1. Got the insurance from an online comparison website. It is not normally stated on the cover note that you can not use for transportation of livestock. I have separate cover from the NFU for my livestock trailer.
2. NFU though very good are double the insurance cost of what I have now and £2100 or triple the initial cost from these "Robin Bar stewards" to put is politely.
Thank you for your replies but you have not answered my two questions.0 -
Whenever I have purchased insurance online I have had the opportunity to review the T&C prior to purchase. Usually I believe I have had to check a box to confirm I have done so. Was it definitely the case that you had no such opportunity?0
