Ticket not displayed

just need a bit of advice. I have checked that the parking company are BPA registered and waited the 25 days before going to appeal. I was going to send the appeal email in blue, on the newbies page, but it doesn't state anything about my situation.I bought a ticket, which must have fallen on the floor when I closed the door. Do I need to incorprate something about this in the email, or simply send the email as is?

    Send it as is

Throughout here you are advised never to reveal who was driving

You need to edit your post to remove details of who was driving

The ppcs monitor this forum and can use posts in your thread against you in Court

They will almost certainly reject your appeal although they lose most of these ""fluttering ticket" claims which end up in court. If/when consider complaining to your MP as nine times out of ten these tickets are scams.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • As I thought they have rejected my appeal. They have sent me an email with a letter attached stating this. It doesn't actually say that this is a Notice to Owner, but does say it is the drivers responsibility to ensure the ticket is displayed properly, even though I have said I am the keeper of the vehicle. I have emailed the retail park owners, but had no response. Should I now go for the POPLA appeal or wait for something to come through the post?

You will of course be drafting your POPLA appeal as keeper, and not submitting it till day 56 from the parking event, so that it is then too late for the PPC to send a NTK.

A rejection letter is not a NTK.

Show us your draft and the FIRST POINT must be the lack of NTK! There is a template for that in the NEWBIES thread post #3, plus the other usual points. Build it up like bricks in a wall so it's pages long on a word document, then save it as a PDF an show us a redacted version (minus your name/POPLA code/VRN etc).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • Should the NTK come through the post, as the only correspondence I have had is the original PCN on my windscreen and this email? I will formulate a letter ready to send on day 56.
