    :bdaycake:Happy Birthday csarina-enjoy your cake.

TV arrived really early swiftly followed by the W delivery so all is sorted. TV was so easy to set up, the most difficult part was screwing on the 'legs'.

    Happy Birthday Deleted_User! :bdaycake:

My SKYPE session ended up being a telephone session as the other person couldn't connect.

I've one lot of washing nearly ready to come in, another ready to go out. Concentrating on washing today as the rain is meant to hit hard later in the week. My life is governed by the weather, daft really.

I don't want to do housework but I will just Hoover a bit. And then stick a casserole in the oven.

I have a spot on the side of my nose, a real achievement at my advanced age. I think possibly because I've run out of face washy stuff and have had to use soap as too idle to go shopping.

    Afternoon all

I haven't had a minute since ds and the DGC arrived on Sunday, we've been walking, swimming, scooting and messing about in the garden, they really are such fun but totally exhausting!

Ds has taken dgd for a walk to Aldi for supplies and the wee fella is resting his eyes in bed so I'm sat having a browse.

Washing out today, hoping it will dry. House a tip but who cares!

    Take care. Xx

    Afternoon everyone

    Happy birthday csarina,enjoy your day.
Camelot - love your comment about the messy house who cares and the fun you’re having with your grandchildren.

I am working tonight then straight to airport tomorrow to fly and see ds2 in France, should arrive Thursday evening around 6pm. I’m going to try and get a couple of hours sleep this afternoon before I leave for work just after 5. Everything is packed so should be ok. I made a mistake with my leave and didn’t realise I was working a night shift and when I realised I couldn’t get the night off.

Going to quickly wash the pots then head down for a nap.

Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care

Afternoon all.. Haven't posted as things happening...father did not make appointment and also had a fall yesterday, spent all day in hospital as his sugar was live threatening high (he hadn't been checking and as he hadn't been eating, we didn't think to check either )
He's still in there and will be for a few days so quite busy as you can imagine.
Happy Birthday csarina ,have a great day!
    Hugs to all....

Afternoon everyone and Happy Birthday to csarina, Hope you get thoroughly spoiled, its what birthdays are for :)

DGS Ben has been packing all day as he moves to London tomorrow I think DD will be a little sad as its her second fledgling flying the nest only three lads left, and two of those will be at Uni next month.

TA I love Hotters and I have a pair of their sandals and they are so comfortable, OK they are not cheap but I worked it out if I get 5-6 summers wear from them it works out about £12 odd a year ,so not too expensive in the scheme of things I have to have happy feet or I get grumpy. Rest of the time I have Sketchers which also are easy on the trotters. I am definitely built for comfort and not speed :)

I will have a busy day tomorrow as I will be packing my car up with lots of DGS Bens worldly belongings and along with DD and her car we will be trekking to Colliers Wood near Clapham to help Ben move house He has raided my cupboards for odd dinner plates and a large saucepan ,but I don't mind as to me I am glad to see some of the stuff go, and its minimising for a good cause. DGS Holly has 'acquired' my electric pressure cooker and my DVD player as I rarely use either and she too has moved to her new house. Its good to see that my bits are coming in useful and it means less for me to pack when I eventually move.

Just had a slight shower of rain which freshened up the air nicely Luckily I got DDs washing in off the line in time and its nice and dry

Right time for a cuppa I think so I will call my little helper down (DGS Mikey ) as he makes a lovely cup of tea and its feet up and a bit of knitting this afternoon for me

    Take care all

  • Thank you all for my birthday wishes, my birthday is actually on Saturday. We went to the coffee morning at the little chapel and I was presented with a cake with candles!! It was divided out and everyone had a piece of cake, we brought home what was left.

We are travelling to Warwickshire on Friday for a NT visit and staying overnight. OH has paid for the hotel........
