ppi with mortgage

HI first time post

We took out a mortgage in 2000 with Bradford and Bingley which was sorted out by an independent financial adviser. He told us that we needed payment protection or we would not be allowed to take the mortgage out. He advised that the best policy was with Scottish Equitable so we took this out at around £130 per month. in 2003 I became self employed and was still paying. In 2005 we moved house and used the same financial adviser and still carried on paying Scottish Equitable with the increased mortgage. Can anybody tell me if this counts as a PPI which can be claimed for and if so who do I claim against, Bradford and Bingley, Scottish Equitable or the now retired independent financial adviser? Many thanks.

Scot Eq are a life assurance company.

Self employment has nothing to do with life assurance.

No. its life assurance (and possibly critical illness cover with that premium).

    Nobody.
