Jobcentre employee causing harm outside workplace

Hello everyone
I know of someone who works for The Job Centre and is also an appointee or I believe they were a former appointee who recently assaulted THE CARER of the person they were being an appointee for. There is video proof.
If I report them can they be refused to be given an appointee role ever again? Could they also be refused to work in care related setting?
Also, as they work for The Job Centre and they committed such actions can they lose their job?
What do you all advice me to do?

It's a matter for the police, plain and simple.
It's not work related so has nothing to do with the DWP, so highly unlikely they would lose their job and if not charged and sentenced in court, then it would have no impact on any care related role, as it wouldn't show up on a DBS check.
It is also unliley to affect them being an appointee as they have not abused their position as an appointee, as they assaulted the carer and not the person they acted as appointee for.0 -
Where they work isn't relevant. The assault should be reported to the police and left to them to handle.0

Assault means police, so what did they say?0
