ESA Tribunal today

Hello. Just come back from my ESA tribunal . I don't feel too hopeful on the results. Last time I had them on the same day. Does this make a difference ? I gotta wait for them in the post this time. My representative said its a good thing they take they time on it? Slightly different questions from last time like how tidy was my flat rather than how do I cope in the supermarket. But maybe that cos it was already written down from before 🤷!♀️. I forgot to mention about the counselling that I wasnt able to go before but waiting on it again. They also mentioned about pip so maybe they can see I'm struggling ? I'm worrying too much now 😞 oh and when I came home there was a letter for assessment for universal credit on the 21st 😭 will I have to go there if I win tribunal? Thank you

Not having a decision on the day doesn't mean anything. Lots of people have to wait a couple of days for the decision in the post and successfully have a decision in their favour. All it means is that a decision couldn't be made on the day.

Whether you'll need to attend your UC assessment will depend on the decision of the Tribunal for your ESA claim.

Okay thank you poppy. As I was thinking if have to wait a month or so to see if DWP wants to go to the upper tribunal then the judges decision wont apply just yet?

You're right, it won't apply yet. It can take between 5-8 weeks for this to happen.
