If people are on exactly the same income they will usually qualify for some Housing Benefit if applicable and Council Tax Reduction although this is not always the case. The new TV licence rules are harsh because it is a rigid cut off.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
