Car Accident Claim/Repair Help

I had a small incident on the 23rd May 2019 that wasn’t my fault. The other person in the accident has accepted full responsibility. The car had body work damage and could see the suspension not attached. I had requested the car went to Sere as it was still under warranty however my insurance insisted it had to be Charles Hurst as it was the closest.

I still don’t have my car 2 month going on three months later.

Initially the repairer had decided they where only going to estimate body work and when they where fitting it to examine the interior. I found this odd as I knew from looking there was more damage. They estimated my car just over 10k, they had told me they will only authorise repairs from 60-63%. It was up to me to follow up with Charles Hurst as I found my insurance company useless with no answers. I have since found out that my repair value is now just under 8k and still waiting on another repair. Note this doesn’t include labour.

I am insured under admiral and only found out after my accident they sent this out to third party which they insist is included in my policy however it isn’t. In this case it was auxilis which they use another company to authorise repairs. They have sense informed me that the repairs will be authorised to 76%. The cost is currently at 75. 6% with another part to be added.

They said today that there has been to many repairs to now total the car. I feel this has been completely mishandled by all involved. I feel Charles Hurst has fed the repairs in drips and drabs and Auxillis has mismanaged the case by authorising to many repairs without getting the full picture.

Auxillis have been nothing but useless this entire time. Any communication has been with me contacting them.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
