Are 'moth resistant' carpets really mothproof? What about a wool/synthetic mix?

Hi all,
I've had a big problem with carpet moths in my 100% wool carpet in the lounge, now 15 years old. I'm thinking about replacing it but don't want the same problem back again.
I don't like wood flooring or sisal/jute/coir underfoot and lino would be weird in a lounge.
A carpet sales-guy told me that most wool carpets are now treated to be 'moth-resistant' but he didn't know whether that meant 'mothproof' and whether that's for the life of the carpet. Does anyone have any experience of these?
He also suggested a mixed wool/synthetic blend as less attractive to moths but would the moths just nibble the wool bits?
Can anyone advise?

If they were moth proof they would be marketed as such. Moth resistant is like adverts which state 'Up to x%' it's pretty much a meaningless statement. You go back to them after a moth had chomped a hole and they say "We didn't say it was moth proof".0

Just been googling a bit more and have found that Westex Carpets do market their carpets as 'mothproof':

I wonder what chemical they're using?0
