Please vote for BLISS & help premature babies

Options
BLISS is a charity that supports families of sick and premature babies and also campaigns for better services in neonatal units. They do amazing work helping families through the rollercoaster of prematurity so please vote for them. All votes must be in by 29th November. Please encourage all your contacts to do the same - it's a really worthwhile cause. Thank you! :j

Here's the science...

You may have seen in the news that once again The Royal Bank of Scotland has teamed up with the Daily Mail to give away £1 million to children’s charities! This is where you can help. We really need you to cast a vote for BLISS to ensure that we are one of the 91 charities selected to win £10,000. The more votes we get, the greater the likelihood that we will also be selected to win the top prize of £100,000. All we need is your vote!

It’s really simple, you can send a few sentences to the Daily Mail either by post or email describing why you think BLISS should be selected. You can write to RBS Daily Mail Charity Campaign, PO Box 241, Alton, Hants, GU34 9BE or email charity@dmail.entries.co.uk.

Your entry must be received by the Daily Mail by Thursday 29 November.

Don’t forget you can also spread the word and encourage your friends, family and colleagues to vote for us by sending a letter or email before 29 November. Every vote counts and will make a colossal difference to tiny lives. Please vote today.

  • Hi Ruby.

I said something like 'BLISS offers essential support to families of sick and premature babies at a time when they need it most. Winning this money would enable them to offer more support to more families.'

With 1 in 8 babies born prematurely in Great Britain, you probably know someone who's had a premature baby. I think it's such a shock when it happens. Parents are unprepared and often facing extremely serious situations with the health of their babies and sometimes the mother, too. Finances get stretched tight with the early delivery and babies sometimes get moved to different Neonatal units, often far from the family home and it's not uncommon for twins to be separated. It's all very stressful and BLISS offer support and help at a time when it feels like you're on a giant rollercoaster that won't stop!

Anything you can say in support of BLISS will make such a difference.

    Thank you!
