if you know who supplied the doors, then you may be able to find out which makers locks they fitted?

ie the bog standard german rehau windows, are pretty common everywhere. and the locks will be fairly common too.
any installer which uses these products, will be able to help you.Get some gorm.0 -
is it the lock barrel (key) or the lock mech the you need to change ?0

Depends what sort of locks they are? And do you mean just the key lock or the entire locking mechanism?0

Thanks all not at home to check which device they are. Need to change locks due to renting it out.

Assuming the lock is a 'Euro' style (99% of patio doors are) there is a single screw fixing and they can be changed very easily.
See here http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Hardware/Cylinders/d170/sd3082for an example of the locks. You can see where the single screw fits in the pictures - you have to open the door and look to the side of the lock and there will be crosshead screw there, just undo it and the cylinder will come out (you might need to turn the key in the lock to get it out).
As you can see there are several sizes available so you need to take yours out and measure it. A six pin might be required for insurance. They are available in DIY stores but prices vary a lot.0 -
As above, dead easy to change, usually a couple of screws on the inside to remove the handle, lock comes out like any other, change with a new barrel and hey presto. Not hard even without instructions.0
