Has anyone got any experience (good or bad) with EDF Boiler/Heating breadown cover? It seems to be carried out by a company called Intana?

I've just cancelled British Gas Homecare after being a customer for over 15 years due to price increases. I've tried haggling with them but they won't budge this time. The boiler is only six years old.

Thanks in advance.

My partner was just quoted £277.32 to renew British Gas Homecare One (up from £231.08 & started at £10/month about 5-6 years ago). I went online & was quoted £174.04. She called them up & they offered her about £230 but wouldn't budge any lower. So she has cancelled & I have signed up for Homecare Four at £266 with £110 cash back from Quidco which makes it £156 with uprated cover to include not just the boiler & controls but central heating, plumbing & drains & electrics. Thank you British Gas!
