Is everyone sending off the template letters to the companies by Recorded/Registered Post or normal delivery?

    No. Most people are using their own letters or filling out the lenders' forms, not templates, and doing them online.

    Ok so if you send your own letters, is it recommend you send via recorded/registered post?

    A first class stamp is fine.

    Proof of postage is available free from the Post Office.

    Avoid template letters.

    Template letters have a lower success rate. Mainly due to the fact people tend to leave things in that are not the truth and easily refuted. As many complaints require a balance of probability decision, the outcome tends to go with the most credible side. Those that have lied on the template letter lose credibility.
