Is it worth keeping the Gleam/Rafflecopter daily thread?

I don't mind keeping it up, if people want it, but if there is nobody using it then there is no point.

.
Thank you to everyone who posts competitions and good luck to everyone who enters.

It doesn't really matter how many people don't use it, what counts is the number that do and whether or not that number makes whatever effort it takes worthwhile.

The previous thread was up and running for over 2 years the post with most thanks on it got 26
Comparison with the other threads in "regulars"
TAB can be over 800 thanks
Puzzler can be 600 or more
Post with a list of links to current magazine issues 167
    Daily competition thread 96
Lowest is the ClicktoWin thread with 47 but that rarely needs updating unless a new site starts or one closes so it doesn't take much work

I don't use it, so have no opinion on whether it should stay or not (I tend to avoid the Gleam / RC's for the most part).

Stop updating it for a few weeks and see if anyone notices.

I comp from my own comping document that I keep updated with useful links and info. It includes a section tor daily entry comps, which I update regularly with new comps that are posted on the main board as I work through it.

I may be wrong, but my feeling is that the daily thread is only really useful to those who comp by end-dating. Others might use it, but perhaps more from habit than anything else. Those who don't end-date, should easily be able to bookmark or save links to any dailies they want to,

If it takes a lot of effort to maintain the dailies thread, I wonder if we could invent a better system for end-daters, so that they don't miss out on daily entries.

Might it work if comp posters add a code word for daily entry comps to the titles so that end-daters could search for this on a daily basis? Or can anyone think of a better/easier method?
