Hi ,
Rang Littlewoods today about an account I had from
2006-2014 (2006-2009 were my uni years where I purchased loads of stuff on Littlewoods credit )... the guy in their ppi complaints department confirmed that there was PPI on my account . He said I’ll hear back from them once they investigate .
Also , I bought a car from CarGiant on a finance with a third party they set the finance up with BlackHorse finance which I think falls under Lloyd’s group . Again , they are investigating it and will get back to me .
Just curious if anyone else has been successful with either of these companies and how much did you get back ?
I think cargiant will argue that I knew I was signing on for it but of course , I didn’t . Littlewoods wouldn’t have much ground to stand on as I was at uni and not employed ...

Some people have been successful.
They've received a refund of their premiums, the associated interest plus 8% statutory interest.0 -
So to get credit from littlewoods you must have told porkies to get the credit.
They woud not have given you credit given your circumstance. Presumably you would have signed something to say youvwere employed etd. They will still have this. Could be cobstrued as fraud
Why did you not know you were signing when yoi got the car.
Being a student, you were obviously intelligent enough to go to uni.
You would have signed to say you had read and understood the terms and conditions ?make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
No, Littlewoods didn’t have a any requirement to be employed . The fact it was against parents address etc meant I qualified .
That said , I think the tone of your response is pretty accusatory . Not the least bit helpful so I won’t continue to answer the passive aggressive rhetorical questions you’ve peppered your response with .0 -
Thanks zx81! Gives some hope 🤞0

Which I’m very confident about as I’ve been completely transparent , unfortunately the banks and credit companies haven’t been as such !0

Oh , the lady on the phone (Blackhorse finances ) said she saw I had a policy with them from 2008-12 and that they’ll investigate it and write to me within 30 days ...she didn’t direct me back to car giant . Should I contact car giant then do you think ?0
