Tranfer Balance back to card for offer

Hi, I have a balance of £4576 Barclaycard which has no promotional offer so i'm paying quite a bit of interest each month (£68 interest when paying £200 a month. I thought I would transfer elsewhere but my plan was scupped when HSBC offered me a lower credit limit!

I have received an offer for 0% transfer balances from Barclaycard for August. Is there anyway I could utlise this if i was to tranfer the balance out and back in again?

Ive checked terms and can't see anything obvious.

Thanks

Yes. There is the risk that your Barclaycard limit is cut before you can BT it back, but it's a small risk.

You also don't need to transfer a balance in its entirety. You can transfer what you can to HSBC, meaning you're already saving.
  • Thanks my limit is around £10k so it's not maxed out.
