Help with using Featured Plus! listing upgrade please.

I want to use the Featured Plus! listing upgrade service on Ebay as I am annoyed that my auctions do not get noticed until the last few hours and the same items as mine go for £50 more.
However, you need a rating of 10 to use the service (mine is currently 4). I asked Ebay why this was as it would mean more fees for them and they gave me the usual useless reply.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Don't forget that items from people with low feedback like yourself will always attract less bids/lower final values, so the Featured plus isn't all to blame.
Also the other thing that keeps bids/values down is sellers who do not qualify for the Paypal protection program.
getting an extra 6 feedback shouldn't take you long
The requirements for Paypal Buyer protection will take a lot longer tho!

I agree with DesG,
A low feedback seller is not going to get the bids that a seller with higher feedback gets. Try building up your feedback a bit, buy a few low priced items and see if that helps.
