No you wont get the full refund for the holiday because something you wouldve used for a few hours wasnt working.

I dont think you should go on holiday and save that money to buy your own hot tub.

Id say at most the difference in price between accommodation that has that facility and those that dont. Ie how much more expensive was it getting somewhere with a hot tub than it was without.

You'd be better off having this moved to the Consumer Rights board.

These things happen, if the owner tried to make up for it I'd leave it.

If they couldn't give a dam, then I'd make them aware I'm not happy and try get something back for my holiday. You'll never get it all, maybe 10% of something...

So you went somewhere you didn't want to go just for use of a hot tub, weird IMO.

We hired a cottage in Portugal for a week, the owner was really pleased when we said, not to bother turning the hot tub on (apparently it was expensive to run), but if you could sort out a couple of bicycles that would be great (which he did).

We're quite annoyed, we would have cancelled the holiday had we been told beforehand.

If you'd done that, then you would have lost all your money and the holiday too.
