Cashback Credit Card with No Income

in Credit cards
Hi All
Martin is always extolling the virtues of a Cashback Credit Card. (I'm thinking of the video with Michael Fish.)
At present I have an "old" Tesco Credit Card which gives me Tesco points but since they closed Tesco Direct I am not getting the value out of them as I don't shop in Tesco or use any of their "partners". So I am looking in other directions.
There are obviously several out there but they nearly all require income.
I am hopefully intending to retire soon and will be living purely on savings until my Government Pension kicks in so will potentially have no income as such.
There is the "Aqua" card that has no min. income but it has an £100 annual cap on it. It seems this is marketed at to quote Martins site "those with a patchy or limited credit history"
Am I looking too deep into this or is there a way round this "income" problem?
Thanks for any help.

You'll only find out by applying or asking before applying0

Getting £100 require you to spend £20000
With no income £20000 on good and luxury is a bit on higher side at moneysavingexpert.0 -
You mention that you are intending to retire soon, so why not just apply now while you still technically have an income?0

Try applying for a tandem card. you have income from savings interest i expect.0

Thanks All
I appreciate all your replies. They all help in a way but KukiNoki probably helps the best. It just proves I'm not good at maths, or using a calculator! There's no way I will be spending that kind of money.. Thanks again.0
