Hi all,
I’ve just reserved a plot and the foundations are laid. I’m wondering if anyone has bought with persimmon and how long their house took to build from this stage?? We’ve spoken to the site and we’re being given a different timescale by everyone we speak too!! One sales adviser said November/December 2019 but another sales adviser has said March 2020.
There’s only six homes left to build on the site so I’m hoping it will be ready this year? Would love to hear from anyone else who bought at this stage and how long theres took! 😊

We have not bought via Persimmon but moved into our new build David Wilson in April. At that time the house at the bottom of our garden was at ground floor level. They got the roof on about four weeks ago so about 12 weeks from ground floor to roof going on. They are fitting it out now. At current progress I would reckon it will be finished and CMLed in another 6 weeks or so.
One thing to be wary of is that you are buying a property late on the site so there won't be the staff on site to deal with any snagging. It is more difficult to get them to come back onto site to sort problems out then it is to get them to deal with snagging while they are still building properties.0
