In order to play the Final, the selected entrant must be available to speak on the phone from 4pm onwards on Friday 16th August. We will attempt to call the selected entrant three times. Each attempt will consist of five rings (for the avoidance of doubt the sound of a “ring ring” shall count as one ring, not two). If the line is disconnected or the call goes through to voicemail before five rings are completed this will count as one attempt. We will not leave a voicemail message asking the entrant to ring us back.
The entrant will be asked to play the Competition as soon as they answer the phone. If they are not in a position to play for any reason, or if any fault occurs immediately prior to or during the call and it is not possible to re-establish contact with the Entrant, they will be unable to play the Competition, and another Entrant will be selected in the same way and called.
If you are selected, you will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and your call will be recorded and played on-air (assuming there is no breach by you of these terms and conditions).
The selected Entrant will be given the choice of 20 sealed and numbered envelopes, each containing a cash prize of at least £10,000. Within one of the envelopes will be £125,000. Once the selected Entrant has made their choice of a number between 1 and 20, that corresponding envelope will be opened and the selected Entrant will be awarded the prize contained within.
If they have not chosen the envelope which contains the £125,000, an independent adjudicator will then open the envelope which contains the highest value prize to confirm its existence.
