PPI on Student Loan Credit Card?

Hi there,
I can’t seem to find the answer to this anywhere on the forum so apologies if this has come up before!
Basically, I had a student loan with the HSBC which came with a credit card. I foolishly maxed it out (around £2500) and ended up paying it off monthly over a number of years and was paying interest whilst paying it back.
Now I know you can’t claim back PPI on student loans but could I possibly claim back PPI on the credit card that was link with the account?
Thanks in advance for any info!

You could if you paid ppi on it, but we don't know if you did. As a student you shouldn't have been paying.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

Thanks Taff, what you’re saying makes sense!
I just wondered if anyone had asked the same question as me so was curious if anyone had been successful.
Thanks again for the reply!0
