Temporary address - electoral roll and CRA

Hi all
I'm (hopefully) going to exchange soon on my first house purchase. Unfortunately, I need to move out of my rental accommodation in the next 2 weeks, likely before exchange and certainly before completion. I will be temporarily living with family in the interim period.
I'm on the electoral roll at my current address, have been for a year. When I move to my temporary home, I will be redirecting post but also would like to update addresses on my bank accounts, credit cards etc even if it is only for a few weeks. I also want to disassociate myself from this current address as soon as possible.
I'm concerned that if my mortgage lender (HSBC) checks my credit file again when my solicitor applies to drawdown the mortgage, there will be an issue if my address has been updated on my financial accounts and now doesn't match my entry on the electoral roll.
Any idea if this will be a problem for HSBC? Will my address at the CRAs even be updated in time (I'm hopeful it will only be 3-4 weeks at my temporary home)? Or do I just not update any addressed at all until I'm in my new, permanent home and just rely on post redirection for security (I don't really want to do this)
I could register to vote at the temporary address but it's unlikely this would be actioned in time to have the desired effect.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

What did HSBC/your broker say when you asked them?0

Haven't had a chance to discuss with my broker or solicitor yet.
I assume this must be quite a common occurrence for people buying and selling0 -
You don't need to cancel your electoral registration immediately and can still vote, even if you do it won't be updated immediately.0
