  • I put £5K on my Transferwise card earlier in the year at 1.15 to the pound. Problem now is we are on hols in 4 weeks. Do I use my Staring card to transact at the spot rate and use the Transferwise balance later when we hit parity or worse.

  • I came here to ask the same question, but with the added point that I'm considering emigrating to a particular EU & Eurozone country in 2020. My savings also total around £30,000 as it happens.

It seems that the advice is not to store an amount of money of this size with Revolut, but instead open an account with Fineco Bank. I won't be doing any trading with the money, just holding it in Euros until my future plans are more certain. If we stay in the UK, and the pound doesn't fall in value, that's just a risk I have to take.

    Any advice appreciated!
    Thanks
